CSIR CMERI Technician Recruitment 2026: CSIR–Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CMERI) has announced a notification for the recruitment of Technician-1 (Group-II) posts. There are 27 vacancies available in various ITI trades. Candidates with the qualification of 10th Pass + ITI / 10th Pass + Apprentice Training / 10th Pass + 3 Years Experience are eligible to apply for the respective posts. Job Location: West Bengal & Punjab

Salary:

• Level-2 Pay Matrix (7th CPC)
• ₹19,900 – ₹63,200
• Approximate Total Emoluments – ₹39,000 per month

Qualification:

• 10th Pass with Science (Minimum 55% Marks) and ITI in Fitter, Electrician, Mechanic (Electrical Power Drives), Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Foundryman, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle/Diesel) or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. OR
• 10th Pass with Science (Minimum 55% Marks) and 2 Years Full-Time Apprentice Training in the relevant trade. OR
• 10th Pass with Science (Minimum 55% Marks) and 3 Years Work Experience in the relevant trade in a Government Department, Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Body.
