Qualification & Experience:
- Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: 2–6 Years
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle manpower deployment according to operators’ skill sets.
- Train operators on machines, equipment, and production processes.
- Identify quality improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
- Manage material movement, ergonomics, space utilization, and poka-yoke methods.
- Understand engine assembly processes and assembly line equipment.
- Allocate daily work to operators based on skill matrix and TACT time.
- Handle manpower planning, absenteeism, and shop-floor grievances.
- Conduct FMEA to minimize quality defects and improve first-time quality.
- Support the production line in-charge during shift operations.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of quality control techniques and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with assembly shop equipment and plant setup.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001, 5S, W1H, and line balancing.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to improve safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
