CSIR-CECRI Apprentice Recruitment 2026: CSIR–Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CSIR-CECRI), Karaikudi has released an official notification for the engagement of ITI Trade Apprentice, Technician (Diploma) Apprentice and Graduate Apprentice trainees under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. There are 27 vacancies available for these apprenticeship posts. Candidates with 8th Pass, ITI, Diploma, B.E./B.Tech and Bachelor’s Degree qualifications are eligible to attend the Walk-in Interview. - ITI Apprentice – ₹11,040/- per month
- Welder & PASAA Apprentice – ₹10,560/- per month
- Glass Former & Processor – ₹6,800/- per month
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice – ₹10,900/- per month
- Graduate Apprentice – ₹12,300/- per month
Qualification & Experience:
ITI Trade Apprentice:
- Qualification: ITI Pass in the relevant trade. For Glass Former & Processor, candidates should have passed 8th Standard.
Technician (Diploma) Apprentice:
- Qualification: Full-time Diploma in the relevant Engineering discipline.
Engineering Graduate Apprentice:
- Qualification: Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentice:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
Note: Candidates who passed their qualifying examination during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible. Applicants should not have undergone apprenticeship training earlier or possess one year or more work experience after obtaining the qualification.
