CSIR NAL Recruitment 2026: CSIR–National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bengaluru has released an official notification for the recruitment of Project Assistant-I, Project Assistant-II, Project Associate-I, Project Associate-II and Senior Project Associate posts on a temporary contract basis. There are 89 vacancies available for these project staff posts. Candidates with 10th + ITI, Diploma, B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, M.Sc. and Ph.D. qualifications are eligible to attend the walk-in interview. Interested and eligible candidates can attend the Walk-in Interview from 10 August 2026 to 25 August 2026 as per the post-wise schedule. Salary:

• Project Assistant-I – ₹18,000/- + HRA
• Project Assistant-II – ₹20,000/- + HRA
• Project Associate-I – ₹25,000/- + HRA
• Project Associate-I (NET/GATE) – ₹31,000/- + HRA
• Project Associate-II – ₹28,000/- + HRA
• Project Associate-II (NET/GATE) – ₹35,000/- + HRA
• Senior Project Associate – ₹42,000/- + HRA

Qualification & Experience:

Project Assistant-I (PA-I):

• Qualification: 10th Pass (SSC) with ITI in Fitter, Turner, Machinist or Manufacturing-related trade from a recognized institute.

Project Assistant-II (PA-II):

• Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Technology or B.Sc. (Chemistry) from a recognized institute.

Project Associate-I (PAT-I):

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or Master’s/Integrated Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, Electronics & Communication, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control, Electrical & Electronics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or Chemical Engineering.

Project Associate-I (NET/GATE):

• Qualification: Master’s/Integrated Master’s Degree or B.E./B.Tech in the relevant discipline with valid NET/GATE qualification, wherever applicable.

Project Associate-II (PAT-II):

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in the relevant Engineering discipline with 2 years of Research & Development experience, or Master’s/Integrated Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Research & Development experience in Industrial, Academic Institutions, Science & Technology Organizations or Scientific activities.

Project Associate-II (NET/GATE):

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech with 2 years of R&D experience or M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc. in the relevant discipline along with valid NET/GATE qualification, wherever applicable.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Research & Development experience in the relevant field.

Senior Project Associate:

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics & Communication Engineering with 3 years of R&D experience, or M.E./M.Tech in the relevant discipline with 2 years of R&D experience.
• Experience: Candidates must have relevant research and development experience in Industrial/Academic Institutions or Scientific Organizations.
