ISRO LPSC Recruitment 2026: Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space, Government of India has released an official notification for the recruitment of Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’, Draughtsman ‘B’ and Fireman ‘A’ posts. There are 19 vacancies available across Mechanical, Chemical, Electronic Mechanic, Fitter, Draughtsman and Fireman posts. Candidates with Diploma, 10th Pass + ITI and 10th Pass qualifications are eligible to apply. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 18 August 2026 to 04 September 2026 (02:00 PM). Job Location: Valiamala, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala and Bengaluru, Karnataka

Salary:

• Technical Assistant: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400/- (Level 7)
• Technician ‘B’: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100/- (Level 3)
• Draughtsman ‘B’: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100/- (Level 3)
• Fireman ‘A’: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200/- (Level 2)

Qualification & Experience:

Technical Assistant – Mechanical:

• Qualification: 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with First Class.

Technical Assistant – Chemical:

• Qualification: 3-year Diploma in Chemical Engineering with First Class.

Technician ‘B’ – Electronic Mechanic:

• Qualification: SSLC/SSC Pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in Electronic Mechanic Trade from NCVT.

Technician ‘B’ – Fitter:

• Qualification: SSLC/SSC Pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in Fitter Trade from NCVT.

Draughtsman ‘B’ – Mechanical:

• Qualification: SSLC/SSC Pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in Draughtsman (Mechanical) Trade from NCVT.

Fireman ‘A’:

• Qualification: SSLC/SSC Pass along with the prescribed physical fitness and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) standards.

Technician ‘B’ – 10 Posts

Age Limit (as on 04 September 2026):

• Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’ & Draughtsman ‘B’ – Maximum 35 Years
• Fireman ‘A’ – Maximum 25 Years
• Age relaxation for OBC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and other eligible categories will be applicable as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process:

• Written Test
• Skill Test
• For Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’ and Draughtsman ‘B’, candidates will undergo a Written Test followed by a Skill Test.
• For Fireman ‘A’, selection includes Written Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
