BEL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Jalahalli, Bengaluru, a Navaratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has announced a Walk-in Selection (Written Test) for engagement of ITI candidates for one-year Short Term Apprenticeship Training (2026-27) under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. Candidates from the Southern Region with ITI qualification in the relevant trades are eligible to appear for the selection. Salary:

• Fitter, DMM, Electrician, Turner, EP, Electronic Mechanic – ₹11,040/- per month
• COPA/PASAA, Welder – ₹10,040/- per month

Qualification:

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed ITI in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT.
• Eligible Trades: Electronic Mechanic, EP, DMM, Fitter, COPA, Turner, Welder, Electrician

Note: Candidates who passed ITI on or after 01 January 2022 are eligible. Candidates pursuing their final semester/final year of ITI and awaiting results are not eligible.

Age Limit:

• Maximum Age – 21 Years as on 01 September 2025

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST candidates – 5 Years
• OBC candidates – 3 Years
• The notification specifies the above age reference date as 01 September 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Only candidates belonging to the Southern Region are eligible.
• Eligible States: Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana
• Candidates must meet the prescribed physical fitness standards under Schedule II of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.
