DGQA Technician Recruitment 2026: Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA), Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Government of India has released an official notification for the direct recruitment of Technician (Semi Skilled) and Technician (Skilled) Group ‘C’ Non-Ministerial, Industrial posts. There are 14 vacancies available across various establishments in Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Jabalpur and Chandigarh. Candidates with 10th Pass and ITI qualifications along with the required trade experience are eligible to apply. Position: Technician (Semi Skilled), Technician (Skilled)

Job Location: Secunderabad, Telangana, Bengaluru, Karnataka, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Chandigarh

Salary:

• Technician (Semi Skilled): Pay Matrix Level-1 – ₹18,000 – ₹56,900/-
• Technician (Skilled): Pay Matrix Level-2 – ₹19,900 – ₹63,200/-
• Selected candidates will also be entitled to applicable allowances and benefits such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Children Education Allowance, Leave Travel Concession and medical facilities as per Government rules.

Qualification & Experience:

Technician (Skilled):

• Qualification: 10th/Matriculation Pass from a recognized Board + ITI Pass Certificate in the specified trade or equivalent Defence Services Tradesman Course approved by the Central/State Government.
• Experience: One year experience in the specified trade from a recognized organization or undertaking.

Technician (Semi Skilled):

• Qualification: ITI Pass in any trade or equivalent Defence Services Tradesman Course approved by the Central/State Government.

Technician (Semi Skilled) – 7 Posts

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age – 18 Years
• Maximum Age – 27 Years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST candidates – 5 Years relaxation
• OBC candidates – 3 Years relaxation
• Ex-Servicemen – 3 Years after deduction of military service
• PwD/Departmental candidates – Age relaxation as per the notification and applicable Government rules.

Selection Process:

• Written Examination
• Trade Test
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

The written examination will consist of 100 objective-type questions for 100 marks and will be conducted for 90 minutes. There will be no negative marking. Shortlisted candidates will appear for the Trade Test, which will carry 100 marks, with a minimum qualifying requirement of 40 marks. There will be no interview.
