Army AOC Recruitment 2026

Army AOC Recruitment 2026: Army Ordnance Corps (AOC), Ministry of Defence, Government of India has released an official notification for the recruitment of Tradesman Mate, Fireman, Junior Office Assistant (JOA), Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Material Assistant Group ‘C’ civilian posts. There are 2,615 vacancies available across these posts. Candidates with 10th Pass, 12th Pass and Bachelor’s Degree qualifications are eligible to apply for the respective posts. • Tradesman Mate – ₹18,000 – ₹56,900/-
• Fireman – ₹19,900 – ₹63,200/-
• Junior Office Assistant (JOA) – ₹19,900 – ₹63,200/-
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) – ₹18,000 – ₹56,900/-
• Material Assistant – ₹29,200 – ₹92,300/-

Qualification:

Tradesman Mate: Matriculation/10th Pass from a recognized Board.

Fireman: Matriculation/10th Pass from a recognized Board.

Junior Office Assistant (JOA): 12th Pass from a recognized Board/University with English typing speed of 35 words per minute or Hindi typing speed of 30 words per minute.

Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Matriculation/10th Pass from a recognized Board.

Material Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age – 18 Years
• Maximum Age – 25 Years for Tradesman Mate, Fireman and MTS
• Maximum Age – 27 Years for Junior Office Assistant and Material Assistant
• Age relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories as per Government rules.

Selection Process:

• Written Examination
• Physical Efficiency Test (where applicable)
• Typing Test for JOA
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination
• The written examination will be objective type. The Physical Efficiency Test/skill or typing test will be conducted as applicable to the respective post.
