Assam Petro-Chemicals Recruitment 2026: Assam Petro-Chemicals Limited (APL), a Government of Assam Undertaking, has announced a notification for the engagement of Diploma Apprentice and ITI Trade Apprentice posts under the Apprentices Act, 1961. There are 20 vacancies available in various engineering disciplines and ITI trades. Candidates with the qualification of Diploma / ITI are eligible to participate in the Walk-in Interaction. Interested and eligible candidates can attend the Walk-in Interaction on 29 July 2026 and 30 July 2026. Job Location: Assam

Stipend:

  • Diploma Apprentice – ₹10,900 per month
  • ITI Trade Apprentice – ₹9,600 per month (or ₹8,200 per month as applicable under Apprenticeship Rules)

Qualification:

Diploma Apprentice:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering.

ITI Trade Apprentice:

  • ITI in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation related trades.

Note:

  • Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination within the last 5 years.
  • Minimum 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC-NCL candidates are eligible for 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.
  • Candidates with ITI in Diesel Mechanic are not eligible for the Mechanical discipline.

How to Apply:

Candidates should register on the NATS 2.0 Portal (for Diploma Apprentices) or NAPS Portal (for ITI Trade Apprentices) before attending the Walk-in Interaction. Applicants must carry the original documents along with self-attested copies, passport-size photographs, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, bank passbook, medical fitness certificate, biodata and NATS/NAPS registration number at the time of Walk-in.
