BHEL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Haridwar has announced a notification for the engagement of Trade Apprentice posts for the year 2026-27. There are 187 vacancies available in various ITI trades. Candidates with the qualification of 10th Pass + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) are eligible to apply for the respective trades. Positions: Trade Apprentice

Job Location: Haridwar

Stipend: As per Apprentices Act, 1961 and BHEL Rules.

Qualification:

  • 10th Pass with ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in Fitter, Machinist, Turner, Welder, Electrician, Draughtsman (Mechanical) or Foundryman.
  • Candidates who passed ITI in 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates must have secured minimum 60% marks (General/OBC-NCL/EWS) and 55% marks (SC/ST) in ITI.
  • Candidates who completed ITI as Private Candidates are not eligible to apply.

  • Fitter – 74 Posts
  • Machinist – 36 Posts
  • Turner – 26 Posts
  • Electrician – 26 Posts
  • Welder – 17 Posts
  • Draughtsman (Mechanical) – 4 Posts
  • Foundryman – 4 Posts

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age – 18 Years
  • Maximum Age – 27 Years
  • OBC (NCL) – 30 Years
  • SC/ST – 32 Years
  • Age relaxation for PwBD candidates is applicable as per Government rules.

Selection Process:

  • Merit List based on 70% ITI Marks + 30% 10th Marks
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination

How to Apply:

Interested and eligible candidates should first register on the Apprenticeship India (NAPS) Portal. After registration, candidates must submit the online application through the BHEL Haridwar Recruitment Portal. After successful online submission, candidates should print the acknowledgement slip and send it along with the required self-attested documents to the Executive (HR), Recruitment Section, Room No. 29, Main Administrative Building, BHEL, Ranipur, Haridwar – 249403, Uttarakhand on or before 27 July 2026.
