CSIR NML Recruitment 2026: CSIR–National Metallurgical Laboratory (CSIR-NML), Jamshedpur has announced a notification for the engagement of Project Assistant-II, Project Associate-I, Project Associate-II, Project JRF and Project SRF posts on a temporary basis under various research projects. There are 15 vacancies available for different projects. Candidates with the qualification of Diploma / B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc are eligible to attend the walk-in interview. • Project SRF – ₹42,000 + HRA

Qualification:

Project Assistant-II:

• 3 Years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or B.Sc. in Chemistry

Project Associate-I:

• B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemical Engineering, Material Science Engineering or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, Metallurgy, Inorganic Chemistry

Project Associate-II:

• M.E./M.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or B.E./B.Tech with 2 years R&D experience

Project JRF:

• B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science & Engineering with CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or equivalent National Level Qualification

Project SRF:

• M.E./M.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science with CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or equivalent National Level Qualification
