Integral Coach Factory Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai has released an official notification for the engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. There are 1,010 vacancies available across various ITI trades for Fresher and Ex-ITI candidates. Candidates with 10th Pass, 12th Pass and ITI qualifications are eligible to apply. Salary:
- Freshers – 10th Pass – ₹8,200/- per month
- Freshers – 12th Pass – ₹9,600/- per month
- Ex-ITI Candidates – ₹9,600/- per month
- During the second year of apprenticeship training, the prescribed minimum stipend will increase by 10%.
Qualification:
- Ex-ITI Candidates: 10th Pass with minimum 50% marks + relevant ITI/NTC qualification.
- Freshers: 10th Pass with minimum 50% marks for Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter and Welder trades.
- MLT (Radiology & Pathology): 12th Pass with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- PASAA: 10th Pass with minimum 50% marks + relevant ITI certificate in the prescribed computer-related trade.
Eligible Trades: Carpenter, Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Painter, Welder, MLT-Radiology, MLT-Pathology, Programming and System Administration Assistant (PASAA).
Note: No prior work experience is required. The engagement is for apprenticeship training and does not guarantee employment in ICF/Railways.

- SC/ST candidates – 5 Years upper age relaxation
- OBC candidates – 3 Years upper age relaxation
- PwBD candidates – 10 Years upper age relaxation.
Selection Process:
- Merit List based on 10th Class marks
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
- The merit list will be prepared based on the prescribed merit calculation. In case of candidates having equal marks, the older candidate will be preferred. If the dates of birth are also the same, the candidate who passed the 10th examination earlier will be considered first.
