IUAC Apprentice Recruitment 2026

IUAC Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), an autonomous research centre under the University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Education, Government of India, has announced a notification for the engagement of Graduate Apprentice, Diploma Apprentice and ITI Apprentice posts under the Apprentices Act, 1961. There are 10 vacancies available in various engineering and ITI disciplines. Candidates with the qualification of ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. are eligible to apply for the respective apprentice posts. Positions: Graduate Apprentice, Diploma Apprentice, ITI Apprentice

Job Location: Delhi

Stipend:

• Graduate Apprentice – ₹12,300 per month
• Diploma Apprentice – ₹10,900 per month
• ITI Apprentice (Machinist) – ₹10,560 per month
• ITI Apprentice (Electronic Mechanic) – ₹10,560 per month
• ITI Apprentice (Welder) – ₹9,600 per month

Qualification:

Graduate Apprentice:

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Instrumentation, Mechanical, Mechanical & Automation, Mechanical & Automobile, Production Engineering or B.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics with minimum 55% marks.

Diploma Apprentice:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or Production & Industrial Manufacturing with minimum 55% marks.

ITI Apprentice:

• ITI in Machinist, Turner, Grinder, Welder or Electronic Mechanic with minimum 55% marks.

Note:

• Candidates who passed the qualifying examination in 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible to apply.
• Candidates who have already undergone Apprenticeship Training or have one year or more job experience after obtaining the prescribed qualification are not eligible.
• Final year appearing candidates can also apply.
