VSSC Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), under the Department of Space, Government of India, has released an official notification for the engagement of Graduate Apprentice and Technician Apprentice posts for the training year 2026-27 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. There are 460 vacancies available. Candidates with Degree and Diploma qualifications are eligible to participate in the Selection Drive. Interested and eligible candidates can attend the Selection Drive on 25 July 2026. The detailed eligibility and selection process for VSSC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 are explained below.

Organization Name: Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC)

Positions: Graduate Apprentice & Technician Apprentice

Job Location: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

Stipend:

  • Graduate Apprentice: ₹12,300 per month
  • Technician Apprentice: ₹10,900 per month

Qualification:

Graduate Apprentice:

  • Engineering Degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Production Engineering and Fire & Safety Engineering. First Class Degree (Minimum 60% Marks) in Hotel Management/Catering Technology. Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum 60% Marks/6.32 CGPA) in General Stream (Non-Engineering Graduates).

Technician Apprentice:

  • First Class Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrument Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Commercial Practice.

Age Relaxation:

Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. In case of a tie, the candidate with higher marks in the essential qualification will be given preference.

Interested candidates may participate in the Selection Drive proposed to be conducted at VSSC, Thiruvananthapuram and the details are as follows:
